Elon Musk Finds $4,700,000,000,000 ‘Impossible To Trace’ Government Payments

Elon Musk allegedly finds $4,700,000,000,000 ‘impossible to trace’ in government payments.

Musk’s recent work with DOGE or the Department of Government of Efficiency has got people talking.

The DOGE took to Twitter this week to share their findings and how one change they are planning to make with help transparency.

They made a claim that $4.7 trillion of treasury payments could not be traced…and made a pledge that this would not reoccur in the future.

The post read: “The Treasury Access Symbol (TAS) is an identification code linking a Treasury payment to a budget line item (standard financial process).

“In the Federal Government, the TAS field was optional for ~$4.7 Trillion in payments and was often left blank, making traceability almost impossible. As of Saturday, this is now a required field, increasing insight into where money is actually going. Thanks to @USTreasury for the great work.”

Musk praised this change on his own Twitter account, saying it was a ‘major improvement in Treasury payment integrity’.

He wrote: “This was a combined effort of [DOGE, Treasury and the Federal Reserve]. Nice work by all.”

At the end of last year, Trump shared that he was bringing Musk in: “I am pleased to announce that the Great Elon Musk, working in conjunction with American Patriot Vivek Ramaswamy, will lead the Department of Government Efficiency.”

After Ramaswamy left, Trump has often hinted at Musk being the leader, but the White House has updated recently that the billionaire is not actually an employee of DOGE and only advises.

“Like other senior White House advisors, Mr Musk has no actual or formal authority to make government decisions himself.

“In his role as senior advisor to the president, Mr Musk has no greater authority than other senior White House advisors. Like other senior White House advisors, Mr Musk has no actual or formal authority to make government decisions.” they said.
