Influencer Hannah Campbell has sadly announced the death of her 10 month old daughter, Elliana Rose.

The TikToker shared that her daughter had been battling a rare skin condition called junctional epidermolysis bullosa (JEB), which causes fragile and blistering skin.

Sharing on the app on April 8, the mom wrote: “Our sweet girl Elliana Rose lost her battle last night,”, “She passed peacefully, wrapped in love.”

She continued, “I don’t know what to do with myself today. I’m heartbroken, and I’m angry. No child should have to endure what she did. EB stole her from us. Let’s fight for a cure so no other family has to feel this.”

“Severe JEB often takes lives way too soon, and even the ‘milder’ form still causes daily pain, wounds and lifelong challenges,” she wrote in the video. “There is no cure, but there is hope. Every child with EB deserves a future without pain. Spreading awareness leads to research, treatments and one day a cure.”

The video showed a heartbreaking montage of Elliana’s short life.

JEB causes blisters  “in response to minor injury, even from heat, rubbing or scratching,” and can also cause blistering inside the body, in the “lining of the stomach or mouth.”

Hannah shared her family’s journey, gaining an audience of over 700k on the app. Her followers loved watching Hannah her husband Jacob and their two children, Ember and Elliana.

Heartbreaking, our thoughts are with the family at this difficult time. RIP.
