Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, one of Hollywood’s most legendary couples, are leaving Los Angeles after experiencing two distressing break-ins at their home.
In an appearance on Kelly Ripa’s Let’s Talk Off Camera podcast, Hawn shared that the increasing crime rates in L.A. prompted them to seek safer options, such as Palm Desert.
She described the terrifying incidents, where intruders entered their property and even broke through a secure door to steal valuables.
Despite attempts to move forward, a second break-in occurred just four months later, leaving Hawn feeling deeply unsettled and constantly on edge.
These incidents are part of a broader pattern of high-profile burglaries in 2024, affecting celebrities like King Bach and Corinna Kopf.
As a result, the couple decided to reconsider their future in L.A., with Hawn stating that the city’s appeal no longer outweighed the risks, and they prioritized safety and peace of mind over its glamorous lifestyle.
