Boeing 787 Aircraft’s Right Engine BURSTS Into FLAMES After Takeoff With 249 Passengers & 16 Crew On Board

 

 

This is the shocking moment when a Boeing passenger plane’s engine caught on fire while it was taking off from an airport in Italy.

 

The flight was a Hainan Airlines flight that was on its way to the Chinese city of Shenzen on Sunday when the giant plane was forced to make a landing through emergency means at Rome’s Airport.

The right engine suddenly burst into flames after it took off, carrying 249 passengers and 16 crew members on board.

Footage from the incident showed the exact moment that the plane soars through the sky before a large orange signal pops up.

This is the exact moment that so much blaze starts to emit from the jet. As per reports from the Italian Coast Guard, the plane was hit by a flying bird.

Thankfully, the pilot made the right call at the right time and the jet was allowed to make a safe landing after it dumped fuel over the sea.

There were no delays to air traffic as a result of the incident. Horrifying footage from the incident showed how much smoke started to billow out from the engine, while another clip captured panicked passengers trying to disembark as soon as they were given clearance to do so.
